About Broadoak Partnership

Our Aim

At Broad Oak Partnership our aim is to bring a practical approach to the improvement of productivity in retail and logistics. Broad Oak can trace its origins to 2001 when Mike Dymond formed his first consultancy business after many years in productivity improvement and general management for leading retailers. Andy Sibbles has worked as a highly skilled senior industrial engineer for third party logistics businesses and retailers. Andy and Mike have now formed the Broad Oak Partnership to bring their considerable combined experience to the challenge of realising the performance improvement potential of their retail and logistics clients.

"We bring accuracy and integrity to all of our work" says Andy, who is unrivalled in his ability to solve problems through modelling and synthesis. The vital ingredient is experience" says Mike, who has spent his career designing and installing performance improvement solutions. Broad Oak extends its approach into distribution networks, retail stores, customer contact centres and even into a buying department.

The key to success is the rigorous application of observation and measurement and the inspired use of modelling . "One or other of us will take personal responsibility for each of our projects" says Mike. "We work to a fixed price and we always aim to exceed our objectives."

Our Approach

"At Broad Oak, we understand that it is PEOPLE that deliver results" says Andy. "We recognise that the teams within our clients businesses are critical to the process of delivering sustainable operational improvement and cost reduction. We understand from experience that we cannot just simply apply a set of techniques and systems to achieve positive results. Performance improvement is a mindset. At Broad Oak we actively promote the High Performance Behaviours that ensure positive outcomes for our clients: Go to Customers for more information.
